At this complex, you will go inside Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to pay the respect to Ho Chi Minh President and this is where Ho Chi Minh President is preserved for many Vietnamese generations to pay the respect and love to the Hero of Vietnam. At Ho Chi Minh Complex, you can also walk inside to take a look at President Palace, House 54, House on Stilt where Ho Chi Minh President lived and worked till 1969.

Ticket: if you are just visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, it is free but if you are going inside to see his working and living area, the entrance fee is 40.000 vnd
Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum will be closed for maintenance for two months from November to December every year.
Temple of Literature
The Temple of Literature is another great place to visit in Hanoi City. Temple of Literature was built to pray for Confucius in 1070. Four years after, the Temple of Literature was enlarged and turn to be the school for studying and Temple of Literature is known as the first university in Vietnam. In 400 years of training, more than 1000 students had graduated from here. Right now, the Temple of Literature is quite famous places for parents, children, students come to pay the respect and pray for success studying in the future.

Ethnology Museum
There are many wonderful museum in Hanoi city but the Vietnamese Ethnology Museum is the most interesting to visit while taking the tours in Hanoi, Vietnam. Hoa Lo Prison – Hanoi Hilton
Hoa Lo Prison was built by French during the war time to keep Vietnamese communists or whoever tried to fight back French for freedom. Hoa Lo Prison is well-known as this is where American pilots were kelp during the war time. In 1993, the Government decided to pull down large part of Hoa Lo Prison for another construction. The remain is not so much but still wroth to pay a visit while taking the tour in Hanoi, Vietnam. The most interesting part of Hoa Lo Prison is it often organize truly great exhibitions regarding history and the war in Vietnam. Hoa Lo Prison is quite closed to center of Hanoi City.

Hoan Kiem Lake
Hoan Kiem Lake is the center of Hanoi City, Vietnam, just at the side of Hanoi Old Quarter. This is one of the largest lake in Hanoi and many cultural, entertainment events are often take place at the weekend. At the moment, during Friday, Saturday and Sunday, roads around Hoan Kiem Lake are closed and save for people to enjoy walking around. You can walk around, visit Ngoc Son Temple at Hoan Kiem Lake. If you can get up early, go to the lake, you will see another side of Hanoi city that you will never can see at daytime.
Hanoi Old Quarter

Lotus Water Puppet is just about 10 minutes of walk away, at the other side of Hoan Kiem Lake. Less seat but the ticket is cheaper, just 100.000 vnd / ticket.
