Vietnam Golf Tours
BLUEBELL TOURS VIETNAM – A delegation from Tien Phong Newspaper visited Legend Valley Country Club in Ninh Binh to work with the course management team on preparations for the Tien Phong Golf Championship 2026. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the tournament is expected to expand across both the Rose Course and Canyon Course.
During the visit, the delegation inspected the teeing areas, fairways, greens, practice facilities, and routes between holes. Both sides also discussed course conditions, tournament operations, match schedules, referee and caddie arrangements, and golfer services.
Other preparations include logistics, signage, parking, security, medical support, and media operations. The two teams will coordinate responsibilities and procedures to ensure the tournament runs smoothly, from the opening ceremony to the awards presentation.
LEGEND VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB: A SIGNATURE GOLF DESTINATION IN NORTHERN VIETNAM
Legend Valley Country Club is a premier golf destination in Northern Vietnam, located in Ninh Binh Province, approximately 60 kilometers south of Hanoi. As one of the notable golf courses in Vietnam, it offers a distinctive golfing experience surrounded by limestone mountains, natural lakes, and rolling valleys. Combining world-class course design with the region’s dramatic landscapes, the club features two 18-hole courses, Rose Course and Canyon Course, making it an attractive choice for domestic and international golfers seeking quality golf experiences beyond the capital.
DESIGNED BY NICKLAUS DESIGN
A defining feature of Legend Valley Country Club is its design by Nicklaus Design, the renowned golf course architecture firm founded by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus. Known for creating courses that combine strategic challenges with the natural characteristics of each site, Nicklaus Design brings this philosophy to both layouts at Legend Valley, making the club a notable addition to the golf courses in Vietnam.
Rather than relying solely on visual appeal, the course design encourages golfers to consider shot placement, club selection, and risk management. Elevated tee boxes, strategically positioned bunkers, undulating greens, and water hazards create a varied playing experience. The natural limestone formations also add character to the layout, making the surrounding landscape an integral part of the game.
This combination of thoughtful architecture and natural terrain makes Legend Valley Country Club an appealing destination for golfers of different skill levels, from recreational players to experienced competitors seeking a more demanding round. For international visitors planning golf tours in Vietnam, the club offers an opportunity to experience championship-style golf while exploring the distinctive landscapes of Northern Vietnam.
ROSE COURSE: A STRATEGIC LAYOUT BY NICKLAUS DESIGN
Rose Course at Legend Valley Country Club is an 18-hole golf course designed by Nicklaus Design, the renowned golf course architecture firm founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus. As one of the distinctive golf courses in Vietnam, it is set amid the limestone hills and natural valleys of Ninh Binh, combining scenic views with a strategic layout that challenges golfers to balance accuracy and distance.
The course features carefully positioned bunkers, undulating greens, and fairways that follow the natural contours of the terrain. Each hole presents different playing conditions, encouraging golfers to make thoughtful decisions on club selection and shot placement. Its combination of natural beauty and technical challenges makes Rose Course an appealing choice for golfers exploring Vietnam golf tours.
For travelers planning Hanoi golf tours, Rose Course offers an opportunity to enjoy championship-style golf outside the capital. Its location in Ninh Binh also makes it suitable for itineraries combining golf with regional sightseeing and visits to the area’s cultural and natural attractions.
CANYON COURSE: GOLF AMID DRAMATIC LIMESTONE LANDSCAPES
Canyon Course is the second 18-hole layout at Legend Valley Country Club, completing the destination’s 36-hole golf complex. Also designed by Nicklaus Design, it stands out among the golf courses in Vietnam for its use of Ninh Binh’s distinctive limestone formations, creating a memorable playing environment shaped by natural rock faces, valleys, and elevation changes.
The layout combines strategic fairways, challenging bunkers, and carefully designed greens with striking views of the surrounding landscape. Its signature canyon terrain adds visual character and requires golfers to consider shot accuracy and course management throughout the round. The result is a distinctive experience that complements the Rose Course while offering a different perspective on the area’s natural environment.
For golfers planning Vietnam golf tours, Canyon Course adds variety to a Northern Vietnam itinerary. It is also a valuable option for Hanoi golf tours, allowing visitors to explore a different golf destination beyond the city’s established courses. Combined with Rose Course, it gives golfers the opportunity to enjoy 36 holes of golf in one destination while discovering the landscapes of Ninh Binh.
Together, the two courses provide golfers with more opportunities to enjoy different layouts during a single trip. Their combination of natural scenery, strategic challenges, and varied hole designs makes Legend Valley Country Club an ideal destination for Vietnam golf tours, golf groups, and tournament organizers seeking a diverse and memorable golfing experience.

For a more comprehensive golf holiday, travel planners can arrange private transfers, tee times, accommodation, and sightseeing according to each group’s schedule. This flexibility allows golfers to combine rounds at golf courses in Hanoi with the natural scenery and cultural attractions of Ninh Binh, creating a seamless itinerary that balances city-based golf with regional exploration.
