Golf Courses in Vietnam: VinFast Cup 2026 Takes Place at Vinpearl Golf Léman
Golf Courses in Vietnam
BLUEBELL TOURS VIETNAM – VinFast Cup 2026 will take place from November 23 to 28 at Vinpearl Golf Léman in Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament is part of the 10th National Sports Games. It will feature four events: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s team, and women’s team. Players will compete for national titles and points for their sports teams.
According to the tournament rules, individual players will compete in three rounds of 18 holes, for a total of 54 holes. The golfer with the lowest total score will win. If players tie for a medal, they will compete in a sudden-death playoff to decide the winner.
Vinpearl Golf Léman is located in Tan Thong Hoi Commune, in the former Cu Chi District. The golf course has 36 holes and follows a riverside ecological design. It will host a National Sports Games golf tournament for the first time. As one of the notable golf courses in Ho Chi Minh City, it will welcome some of Vietnam’s top golfers for this major event.
A key change in 2026 is the addition of team competitions. After the individual rounds, the top three male players and top two female players from each team will help determine the team rankings. The eight best teams in each category will advance to the knockout stage. Men’s teams will play three singles matches, while women’s teams will play two. Each win earns one point, and a draw earns half a point. Team selection and player performance will both be important in the race for medals.

A UNIQUE GOLF COURSE INSPIRED BY NATURE
Vinpearl Golf Léman is planned as a 36-hole golf destination inspired by the “Riparian Habitat” concept. The design reflects the natural waterways and landscapes of the Cu Chi area. Golfplan, a US-based golf course design company, created the layout with Lead Architect David Dale. The course combines wide fairways, strategic bunkers, water hazards, and carefully designed greens.
The North Course features 18 holes and four famous hole designs: The Dell, The Biarritz, The Redan, and The Volcano. Each hole presents a different challenge. Players need accuracy, good distance control, and smart course management. These features help establish Vinpearl Golf Léman among the distinctive golf courses in Ho Chi Minh City. It is also an interesting option for golfers comparing championship layouts across the leading golf courses in Vietnam.
The South Course offers another style of play. Its nine holes opened in March 2026. Natural waste bunkers, water features, and challenging landing areas require careful shot selection. The remaining nine holes are expected to complete the planned 36-hole layout later in 2026. This development adds more variety to golf courses in Ho Chi Minh City and gives visitors more reasons to include the venue in their golf itineraries.
